It is a world class learning community of excellence. Ship owners around the world require competent and trained seafarers to man their vessels. As Liberia is the owner of the second largest ship registry in the world, it is responding to the needs of its customers and the international market place by opening the LMTI, to facilitate quality training and to produce well-trained, fully qualified and certified seafarers in accordance with the Standards of Training, Certifications and Watch-keeping(STCW) Conventions and Code.
